Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading supplier in the construction equipment industry who is hiring a Construction Equipment Sales Representative and Estimator to join their business development team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits, as well as a company vehicle, phone, laptop, etc. This ideal candidate will have a strong background in Equipment Sales combined with the ability to develop and maintain a strong customer base by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare pricing proposals, cost estimates, and evaluate contractual risks to ensure competitive and profitable job estimations.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate exceptional sales, negotiation, and communication skills to effectively close sales and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and job estimates.
- Travel within the service area of central North Carolina for day trips to meet with clients and provide on-site job assessments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 8-15 years of sales experience in a relevant field, preferably with a background in equipment sales, construction, or as a mechanical contractor.
- Computer literacy, with experience in 3D Lift Plan, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and NextGen for scheduling a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
